Biography
Claire Dune is an associate professor in the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Université Laval. Holding a PhD in robotics from the University of Rennes 1 and a Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (HDR) from the University of Toulon, she specializes in underwater robotics and robotic perception. Her research focuses on autonomous navigation, computer vision, localization, and robot control in complex and unstructured environments. She develops innovative approaches for the exploration and observation of marine and polar environments, particularly under sea ice, at the interface between robotics and artificial intelligence.
